| As a small child in Mexico, Gloria Mesa discovered her fascination with photography. Growing up, Gloria took many pictures of family and friends in her hometown, not knowing the impact that photography would eventually have in her life.
After graduating from high school, Gloria came to California to pursue her degree in photography; in 1988 she found the Moorpark College photography department, which was a great asset in helping her develop her skills as a photographer and discover her own unique style.
Since that time, Gloria has devoted her time to learning from her mentors: Mark Brandes and Ken Taylor - great photographers in their own style.
Gloria Mesa has a unique ability to capture the spirit and love in the subjects that she photographs. Her experience as a portrait photographer gives her an understanding of composition and lighting. Using her knowledge of photography and the best technology, Gloria creates timeless images that set her apart from other photographers.
Gloria lives in Simi Valley with her husband Luis Fernando and the company of their dogs Free, Sammy and their beloved Mellie. |
